Last few things that Mark Williams glazed and fired for me.

Another few mugs I made while visiting Mark Williams last fall.

A mug collaboration I did with Jenee. I threw the mug and put on the handle, Jenee carved it. It was glazed and fired by Mark Williams.

A few of the cups I threw while visiting Mark Williams in the fall. He glazed and fired them for me over the winter and I finally got back to see him and pick up some of the work this past week.

Stopped by Mark Williams’ studio today and picked up some of my work that he glazed and fired for me in the fall. The carved mug is a collaboration with Jenee. Ill have better photos soon.

I have been kept away from my a studio for almost 2 and a half months now but I finally got to glaze a fire work I made back in January. I again will be away from studio another month as I focus on other projects but I’ll be back and working hard in May.

Working out some new techniques. Not there yet but it’s got some potential

Finally got my film back from my trip out west with Jenee.

I went back to the future bench while I was in Arizona.

Just got home from a really cool trip that I took with Jenee. We Started by flying to Phoenix where we met up with my family and spent 3 days with my grandparents and cousins. We hiked in the mountains, watched the bears play an incredibly bad game with my grandfather and went to see the Chihuly installation at the botanic gardens.

From Phoenix we drove to flagstaff to spend the night so we could get to the Grand Canyon early in the day.

After spending a night at the Grand Canyon in which we could see more stars then I have ever seen before we woke up and watched the sun rise over the canyon.
We then got in the car and made our way to Moab, UT via Monument Vally to see Arches National Park.

This was one of the most beautiful drives I have ever done. The colors of the desert in this part of Arizona and Utah are incredible.

After a Sunset at Arches and then a morning trip back to the park to see more we drove through the Rocky Mountains to Boulder, CO. and then from Boulder we drove almost 12 hours to Iowa City to hang with some friends who moved back there from Chicago this past summer. Our friend Brook made these awesome pins.
After coming home for one night we got back in the car and with a number of friends went to South Haven, MI for New Years Eve.
Lake Michigan was frozen over for the first few hundred yards of lake. We walked out as far as we felt comfortable and then returned to the house for a late night with some our closest friends.

One of the best trips I have ever gone on in my life. I feel like I am lucky to have done it and cant wait for the next one. I am sad its over but I am excited to get back to the studio and music work tomorrow.
